BOOKIE tells the story of a man who learns he can't live his life on the sidelines forever. In 1963, on the night of a wildly anticipated boxing fight, crowds pack into a seedy nightclub for alcohol, wild music, and a chance at easy money. Word is out that the champ's got this one in the bag and Bookie takes down bets from all corners. Amidst it all, Bookie can't help but notice the beautiful waitress Billie fall roughly on the outs with Jackson, her lover and Bookie's all-controlling boss. Bookie attempts to help matters, but the odds prove far more difficult -- they will have to trust each other completely to break free of Jackson and the nightclub.

Inspired by the life of Hank Garland, CRAZY is the story of a legendary guitar player who emerged from Nashville in the 1950s. Blessed with incomparable, natural talent, Hank quickly established his reputation as the finest session player in Nashville. Artists such as Roy Orbison, Patsy Cline, The Everly Brothers and Elvis all sought Hank for their recordings. Moving effortlessly from country, to rock-a-billy, to jazz, Hank was also recognized by the likes of Dave Bruebeck, Gary Burton, Joe Morello and Joe Benjamin. The 50's Nashville scene was unique dominated by a group of executives and musicians who controlled the industry. Hank, in his pursuit of musical excellence, often came into conflict with the business, which he found restrictive and frustrating. But it was his relationship with his wife, Evelyn, which may have led to his demise.Beautiful, Evelyn was unlike any woman Hank had ever encountered when meeting her during a show in Chicago. She excited and fascinated him, and turned a whirlwind romancae into an almost instant marriage. But Evelyn was not all she appeared to be, and when confronted with the reality of Hanks obsessive dedication to his music, began to demonstrate a desperate need to make him love only her. But 43 years after Hank disappeared from music, his guitar lives on in a number of hit records, and one, amazing solo jazz effort.

On an ordinary day, a couple is having dinner. The girl casually asks him how the food is. He briefly answers. However, his manner of speaking takes her to her psychological journey in which she explores what is really happening in their relationship. While the conversation at the dinner table remains ordinary and mundane, the images jump back and forth between the dinner table and her mind?s eye. The girl imagines that she is approaching him as a flamingo, nibbling at him and moving as gracefully as possible. Then, she is sitting in front of a vanity. As the dinner conversation continues with her describing her day, the girl creates a new self in the mirror. While he describes his day, which is rather boring and common, she looks down at him with a wicked smile. Cutting to a wide shot, the girl is seen holding a talking lollipop - the head of the boy. After flirtation, anger and frustration, she gets desperate. The boy starts running and she takes the form of a centaur, nervously chasing him. As times goes by, her emotion shakes her and she starts to reflect on the conversation at the dinner table. She simply cannot find anything to say, and mumbles this to herself. The couple is seen in a small boat, floating in the middle of a lake. She is stuck with him in the boat when he asks her what she has just mumbled. ?Nothing,? is her response.
